Job Title: Chemist – Quality Control (QC) – Chemical Company

We are looking for a skilled Chemist to join our team and contribute to our quality control processes.
### Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine QC testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (e.g., Viscometer, FT-IR, titrators).
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, GMP).
- Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records.
- Assist in troubleshooting and investigating out-of-specification (OOS) results.
- Support laboratory housekeeping, calibration, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to ensure product quality.
### Qualifications & Experience:
- At least Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in chemical manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of QC testing methods and analytical techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship (due to industry compliance requirements).
